With ATM its all about the hypocrisy of the whole thing. Honor Code, the Core, etc..etc. If they did not pull the holier than all "Urban Meyer" thing no one would really care so much. But since they are cult like and this goes against their "Honor Code"(I just threw up in my mouth)it's absolutely laughable.

It's Corps.
Doesn't everyone have an honor code?
Why the unoriginal "cult" reference; and what does that have to do with this thread?
You take things too seriously.

That Trans Am was money well spent. He wanted to go play for the fricking longhorns and they were making $$$ offers. We paid him with the Trans Am to accept SMU's money and screwed the sips for several more years. Like I said, money well spent.

Last time I checked our forefathers sacrificed a lot so we would have a country where people are innocent until proven guilty.

1. ok
2. unoriginal = true and often spoke of for a reason.
3. No, Aggies do...way too serious. Unless they are morally wrong, like this case, then they try to act like they are an easy going bunch. bullshite

You're right, the actions of a few humans in the athletic department completely negate the efforts of an entire University and student body.

A&M talked up about their so called "school values" before entering the SEC...Now it looks like their so called values are taking a "back seat" to winning and trying to be competitive and keeping up with the top tier programs in the SEC.....JMHO..

This sounds very Big 12 circa 2011:

"So much for Aggy honor code, as they go join the cheating rednecks in the SEC."

The honor code:

“An Aggie does not lie, cheat or steal, or tolerate those who do.”

Nothing in there about signing shite for money.

Not true - if JFF didn't take the money, then he is innocent. This was ESPN hype all along, and we knew it.
