Specifics on your experience? Sounds like you are indicting a whole fan base by who shows up to get drunk in the streets a week before the game. I think you may need to come to an LSU home game. Get out a little more. Exactly how many BCS championships have you attended? You are basing this on all you know about us, which is not much. If the nation indicted the Cowboy faithful on that spectacle 45 minutes after the victory that caused so much injury, would it be fair? Just be fair.
On a different note, was Oklahoma deserving of that shot over say USC? That's a similar debate.
Oh, and I can assure you Les is happy and not conflicted about his choice. He turned down his Alma Mater, the winningest program in history, twice. LSU helped make both those coaches you mention. Stand atop your media outlet and disparage a fan base you know near nothing about, and a culture you appear to know even less about. No one outside of Stillwater and Norman will care. I think you should direct that poison pen toward Austin and Norman, the chief reasons Big Whatever # no longer has a Championship Game to boost its elite team over Bama. But as a Sooner, I doubt you'll see it that way. I honestly hope the Cowboys and Dabo wipe the grin off Andrew Luck's face, but I think I've read the last of your drivel.

If you are in a position to state, what is your take on the LSU fanbase relative to other powerhouse SEC fanbases? Be fair and only state based on SEC roadgame experiences, not message board crap. This is open to any other readers and sorry to hijack the thread.

People let message boards skew their actual experiences. Most people are respectful at all games. The exceptions being drunk students, at times. I've often found, being older now than most here, that you're also treated in the manner you display yourself. Usually someone who has had a bad experience, with multiple encounters, is someone who really shouldn't be out in public to begin with. There's usually a common denominator in that scenario, and it's the person complaining being in it. lol

Dudes full of shite ...the rowdy LSU Fans didnt roll into New Orleans until the Friday/Saturday before the game. The ones earlier in the week were the "RV Crowd"

I write Mr Tramel and asked what his beef with LSU was. He said our fans were harassing people in French Quarter before the 2003 Super Bowl. If the classless stuff I read on TD is indicative of the fan base he has a valid gripe.
Still if the Big 12 hadn't run Nebraska and Colorado away there would have been a championship game. One more win would have been enough to jump Bama.

Odd considering that tOSU in 2007 and ND in 2006 both had wonderful times in NOLA as told to me and others by several of their fans.

They claim everything from being terrified to walk home, piss bombs, random batteries, and other bs.
Every, and I mean every, OU fan claims we are the worst fan base ever. They all knew someone who went to the hospital or was randomly beat up.

Are you saying that New Orleans wasn't packed full of fanatical LSU fans that would have been here because they live here?
