If Gus needs Briles input then hire him solely on a consulting basis.
Then you bypass the PR nightmare of him walking around in a AU shirt & cap labeled as part of the staff. He doesn't have to sit in the booth to review/analyze the offense and consult Gus.

I haven't seen shite on Art Briles coming to AU, but the AU folks have thrown his son's name around to replace Rhett, provided Gus ever cuts him from the apron strings.

Maybe Saban will put him on the payroll as a consultant....Kiffin, Sark, and Briles at Saban's Home For Wayward Coaches....our offense will be unstoppable.
