Attitude sucks. He's going to win, and he's going to fall to the "Heisman curse" too. And when that happens, I'm going to laugh my arse off.
Like Cam Newton, Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow, Charles Woodson, Bo Jackson, Barry Sanders, Doug Flutie, Herschel Walker and Tony Dorsett? There's no heisman curse, just more players that don't pan out in the league than players that do.

I like the guy. Hell of a player. But after the Baylor / UT game he said, "Baylor just won their first heisman trophy". I was like, o really?

Quote was taken out of context FWIW, he was referring to his entire team deserving the Heisman.

Makes him more honorable...

Trent has been talking as if he's already won the award. At one point I had to do a double take because he was talking about it in the past tense as if it was all wrapped up.

There was nothing factual about it. Typically heisman winners have to be on a good team. Baylor is not a good team. Not to mention he was basically saying TR, Luck, Ball, etc. had no shot.

He was referring to his team, not him.

quote:

"We thought if we came out with a victory, we could win the Heisman. It's not just about me, it's about all of Baylor Nation," Griffin said. "I don't know if you can say we deserve it, but (it) would definitely be warranted."
