The titans are doing the exact same thing this year, albeit with the 10th pick, not the 2nd.... Tennessee drafted OT Taylor Lewan with the idea that he wouldn't start. I believe he's logged fewer snaps that GR so far this year.

It pretty simple gus's offense doesn't correlate to the pro game.

"Bills rookie RT Cyrus Kouandjio was reportedly "dominated" in Wednesday's joint practice with the Steelers." LINK

I guess Saban's doesn't, either.

Maybe I'm misremembering, but didn't Lewan have a major injury at Michigan last year?

Maybe I'm totally off base, but that strategy of holding out an OL doesn't make any sense to me. You want to get them acclimated ASAP. It's not the same as a QB.

I don't think so, at least not his senior year... he did get into a bar fight with an Ohio St fan.

I don't disagree with you, but TL and GR are similar in that they're both athletic freaks, but still raw. some even thought Lewan was a better athlete at the combine than Robinson.

Bills rookie RT Cyrus Kouandjio

After Stryker exposed him showing he could not stop a speed pass rusher in the bowl game and then the medical examinations at the combine I didn't think he would get drafted.

I agree, which is why I think he'll start by season's end. I don't see the benefit of throwing him out there right now if he's not 100% up to speed.

The Rams knew what they were getting, a dominant run blocker with shortfalls in pass protection. I can't remember 1 scouting report that didn't state that, but harped on his upside being the reason he was 2nd pick worthy.

Saying bammer players do not transition to the NFL is absolute fact. Saban has been at bammer for eight years, has had dozens of players drafted, and has had a whopping two players make the pro bowl. One of the pro bowls was an alternate

This whole "trolling" and "rustled" thing is pretty ridiculous. I don't understand how grown arse men get off by evoking emotional responses anonymously. I suppose high school never leaves the psyche?

So, pro bowls are now what we are basing on being successful in the NFL? I thought just making a team was hard enough. I do know of a couple of lb's and db's that are doing ok.

yeah Bradford is done. THey dont have a QB.
no need to waste the man's psyche on a lost season. Work him in practice. let him get comfortable with what is needed of a tackle in the NFL.

Not a bust........ yet.

Too early to make him a member of the "Bust Club". Speaking of which, how are the original members of the "Bust Club" (Ingram, Richardson, Lacy) doing this year ?

Cam Newton by himself has been to the pro bowl as many times as all the Alabama players under Saban have made it combined.

Cam pro bowls- 2

Every Alabama player produced by Saban combined-2
