I remember an A&M fan asking who he was like 3 weeks ago when Greg was projected 2nd pick

They still think there is no way Matthews goes after Grob

Yeah this was great

Also is GRob's experience as a LT on a horrible 3-9 offense a good thing to be touting?

Signing Trovon Reed was well worth getting GRob out of it. No question.

Did you really try to make this about Bama? That's sad

Matthews is dead on reliable and is a known quantity, he's very polished in his technique as well. Greg is one of the most talented LTs to come out of the draft the last decade but he's still raw in terms of technique and is still getting stronger. Both will have long careers provided they avoid the injury bug.

Cyrus lost a lot of money the last two games, he was owned by Lawson in the IB and OU's DEs had his number as well.

After Fisher from "where the f*** did he play at again U" got picked ahead of Joeckel last year I don't think many Ags will be surprised by much. GRob is an excellent player and I'd have no problem if an NFL exec thought he was the best fit.

With Matthews you get a guy capable of playing all 5 positions on the line (he was the deep snapper, RT and LT at TAMU). It really depends on what the team is looking for in an OL.

Good luck to all the SEC guys in the draft!

P.S. I know... "Holy lurker Batman!"

Jake is the safer pick. There is no doubt in my mind he'll have a long successful NFL career at tackle, guard, or center.

Robinson might have a little something extra to him. I expect both to go in the top 10 and Jake probably going second.

He didn't say a thing about Bama, just congratulated you on AU's national championship run.

I don't know if "best fit" has anything to do with it.

I think it comes down to whether a team needs/desires a plug-and-play guy (Matthews) or a guy with the athleticism, size, and strength to have the much greater upside (Robinson).
