Derrick Thomas vs. Kentucky in '88 had a pretty memorable defensive performance. 14 tackles, four sacks, one blocked punt, and one blocked field goal.

Another UGA mention:

Paul Oliver vs Georgia Tech in 2006. Had one interception and absolutely blanketed Calvin Johnson in single coverage all day. Held Johnson to 2 catches for 17 yards and was easily the best player on the field. Anyone who remembers that game knows what I mean.

There are some great performances that don't necessarily fully show up in the stat sheet, and this was one of them.

The best individual performance I saw as a kid was Kerry Goode in 1984 against Boston College. He had 3 touchdowns and almost 300 all-purpose yards through the middle of the third quarter before he hurt his knee. He owned Boston College that night and unfortunately he was never the same after.

I remember this like it was yesterday. One of the most fun games that I went to as a student.

This should be #1 to me =) 200 yd rushing games are fairly common, but receiving ones are rare. And in this case it wasn't just a couple long bombs. It was NINETEEN catches.

Mcfadden for 321 was most dominant I've seen. We ran for over 500 yards that day.

Number 1 in my book was DT getting 7TFL, 4 sacks and a fumble recovery against A&M. He dominated that game from start to finish.
