re: Retay Shotguns

We had several clients bring retays this year. Several people absolutely loved theirs. That said we had multiple people claim issues this year and saw a few not function well with us. I have an old Turkish gun for a backup that acts like the hammer of god on ducks so I'm not knocking off brands...
F26 and be done. Just don't expect to ever take it apart again. ...

I have a pyr mix, mom was registered pyr dad was a mostly Dane mix. One of the most docile family friendly dogs on earth. Until they feel the need to guard. Then she becomes a scary animal with a quickness. I would get another just like her in a heartbeat....

I've got a S&W 66 no dash with a 4 inch barrel, an extra inch wouldn't hurt but I'm not sure I want 2....
I love the Hobo ICU 2 double reed, I have the prime meat single reed as well. I'm not sure I've found a call I like any better. ...
I deer hunt a ton of ag field edges. The main reason I carry a headlamp is I run into so many of the dang things walking out. I rarely see one that isn't within an hour of sunrise or sunset. ...
My brother started using them several years ago, before the craze started. He has tons of them in various sizes and replaced his yetis with them. That said he laughs at the lengths people will go to get them. ...
We have 8 days left, most of the season was trash in NEA. We had some really good hunts during the first split and a bunch of very bad ones lately. Killed a bunch of mallards and wood ducks on the river Friday. My buddy killed 30 something yesterday. I'm going to sneak out and pull most decoys an...

re: Trout fishing in Arkansas.

That would be me. Honestly we focused more on spin fishing than we did fly fishing. My best trout ever was on a fly but it was luck not skill. You can't go wrong with any of those listed, I would be hesitant to say who is best simply because fly isn't my forte. ...
but I've never heard of them.
They are my go to for waterfowl stuff. I'll check macks as well but either one gets me the product in under two days normally. I get some pretty stupid good discounts directly from a lot of companies but still look at them before buying anything. ...

My waders sprung a leak yesterday, so I hoped on their website and found a closeout on some breathable zippered waders for $100. Based on buying their bags and reviews of guys I hunt with I'm ready to give them a shot. ...
. Do you think that will be possible? My buddy also neeeds to get back to Little Rock airport that day.
Honestly I think you should be fine. Snow means slow but it's not bad to drive on. Hwy 67 and I 55 should be cleared quickly. As far as most accurate forecast follow ryan Vaugh...
Where I'm at in nea is supposed to get 3-11 inches of snow depending on which forecast you check. From Saturday afternoon until the next Sunday we will be above freezing for a few hours one day. 3 days of single digit lows will freeze all but the best moving water....
On a side note I went out to the pit yesterday and saw more ducks since the opener and the most geese I've seen all year. I think this weekend should be a bloodbath. Tons of new ducks that have avoided a lot of shooting this year. I had 3 groups land in the decoys with me right after sunset as I was...
I went to church and played ball with and against Scott for nearly 20 years. That whole family is just fantastic. In fact my lease this year is just on the other side of the river from them. I can hear them shoot with a westerly wind. And I graduated the same year as Pace, from the rival schoo...
I've not been back into Bayou Meto since Arkansas Game & Fish made all the regulation changes. When I first moved there, you could leave the boat ramp whenever, so guides would have "runners" go in super early to save their holes.
Some of my friends first job was spending the night...
Last "fantastic" hunt I took part in occurred a couple years ago with a guide service in Walnut Ridge.
Just curious which guide service did you go with, I grew up in Walnut Ridge so I probably know them. ...
I mainly hunt 2 locations, the minnow ponds in paragould and a rice field bordering the Cache outside of light, between paragould and walnut ridge. The ponds are basically 2k acres of water that can't be missed. My rice field has water and there are plenty of flooded fields around, but they all ha...
So far this year our biggest issue has been weather. Lack of water in NEA and warm weather all the way to the breeding grounds has really hurt. Add in the pressure and its amazing we kill limits at all. If I was to draw a circle 1 mile in diameter from my lease there are 15 other pits. We still...
