The cut to Bielema. You can almost see the thought bubble over his head, "I've got to get this guy off my staff, pronto."

At least Kirby can find a coordinator, unlike Gusoline.

It's an ok hire, it will allow them to continue to beat Auburn y at after year.
Chaney was 0-2 against Auburn.

It literally can't be any worse than Schottenheimer.
At this point, I will have liked to see what Richt could have done without Schottenheimer and a year of Eason, Chubb, and Pruitt....

He found one alright. All 500 lbs of him.

So I guess Eason is now going somewhere else.

I like the hire personally

We are paying him by the pound so it's a good deal for McGarity

Isn't Eason visiting this weekend? I guess that Kirby wanted to impress him with this big news.

I know a lot of you are being sarcastic, but this is a great hire..... for everyone in the SEC not named Georgia.
Probably not the 1st choice and probably rushed to try to shore up recruiting and Eason. Hard to believe offensive recruits on the fence will be drawn in because of this. I would have waited, sometimes no OC is better than a blah hire

As a Florida fan what would you say was Muschamp's first and biggest mistake that he made?
Hmmmm. Listen closely Georgia fans.

Taking the HC job right after Urban Meyer won a couple of national titles there?

Enos’ first year at Arkansas yielded a dramatic improvement for the Razorbacks offense from under previous coordinator Jim Chaney. Arkansas’ total offense rank went form No. 63 in 2014 to No. 31 this season. The passing offense went from 102nd to 33rd.

Sounds like a mediocre hire.
Might not last long, though.
Guy looks like he could drop dead from a coronary at any second.

Last time Kirby Smart's D faced a Jim Chaney O was in 2014. ARK outgained Bama, 335-227 & went 9-19 on 3rd downs in a 14-13 Tide win. #UGA

Like it. Really like OL hire. Fits what Smart wants to do on offense LINK …

Kirby Smart scores big with the Chaney/Pittman hire. Tennessee's offense set records in 2012 when they were there despite an awful defense.

Chaney's 2012 offense at Tennessee was one of two in SEC (Manziel and A&M was other) to average 300+ pass yds and 150+ rush yds per game.

Jim Chaney as OC a very good hire for @FootballUGA. Knows how to develop QBs. Gets the ball to play makers in space.

Has Chaney ever coached a bad offense? He develops QBs, tons of experience, recruits better than folks think LINK …

Pittman and Chaney together are one of best duos in business. Guess we forgot about 12' offense. LINK ]

UGA run game won't miss a beat with Jim Chaney as OC. Mixes up runs as well as anyone in the nation. Headache for defenses.

He's great. Players love him. Well respected. Nice fit for what Smart wants to accomplish on offense. LINK …
