Only time I have ever come really close to a fight at an opposing stadium was Columbia in 02 and that was just 1 drunken bitter old man outside the stadium in the parking lot right there by the gate. Every other visit to a SEC stadium has been fine including the 2 times I parked in the fairgrounds with silver spur parking passes that had been given to me.

That was the game with the lightning delay right?

He probably had too much time to booze in the parking lot.

DSOR 2013. Pretentious Auburn twenty something sitting across the aisle from me. He tried to talk shite about our academics and shite at a football game. I made fun of him for 3 quarters for being upset about not getting into UGA. He got belligerent. I got belligerent. Fun times.

I was probably the "bad fan" in this game.

I had drank, and my friend ditched out so I went solo. Was sitting in the Kentucky section literally right above the Carolina section. I talked mad shite during the game. Had one woman give me the biggest evil eye I had ever received. I was really just having fun with this other guy that was talking shite that was a Kentucky fan.

Once they had won, I shook everyone's hand that was around me saying good game. No ill will that I know of.

Which reminds me, never ask Catfan for directions. I tried to find her tailgate and the only directions I got were "we're by the barn wearing blue behind the scoreboard". There seemed to be two barns and of course EVERYBODY WAS WEARING BLUE. I swear I saw her in passing though when she claimed she was getting more beer. I probably should have spoken up then.

Also that morning my battery ran dead in a McDonald's parking lot. I didn't even eat there, I was just killing time. One of the UK posters even said they saw me. I'm pretty sure it was Busey. Don't think he posts anymore.

I went to that game...the tailgating was very friendly...the game obviously sucked arse for any GA fan in attendance. I did exchange words with one dude who literally would not shut up about Aron Murray wearing Skinny Jeans...I was like haha the first 5 times but by the third qrt and the 100th time he said it I finally told him to shut the frick up. He acted liek he was gonna do something but his women told him he needed to chill...they left their seats and never came back. But overall the fans were cool...the game...the game was fricking awful.

I've been to Columbia more times than I can count and 2 games there and generally I have no issue. 2012 was just a perfect storm of bitterness, a late kick, copious amounts of alcohol and a top-tier match up.

Pretty much sums it up. Add College Gameday to the mix, and things go crazy.

I'd expect the same type of behavior in Athens in similar conditions.

Well someone lit that Aubie van's tail on fire in 2001.

I was leading the tiger bait chant with my megaphone.

Good explanation about how UGA fans were treated in USCe during 2012

Biggest suspsicious statement right there.
Really, he's the "founder" of the UGA Alumni Association. What is he, 80?

I've seen that posted before, and it pisses me off every time. Not towards SC, but at the writer. Half of that stuff is flat out made up lies, and he sounds like a complete and total puss to boot. People like him give our fans a bad name. ETA: I see this is a paraphrase of that soccer dude from another board, but I HAVE seen this posted before claiming ot be about uga/sc.

Thank you. Upvoted.

This kind of shite makes uga fans seem like clemson fans and yall are better than that. You really are.

I got called out for it being fake on literally the first post. It's a cut and paste from a USA fan talking about Mexico fans. Thought it would be kinda funny since UGA fans seem to have that one game as their worst road experience ever.

Just saw some thread potential and it's been entertaining so far.

I disagree.

So if Gamecock fans started a thread about Richt taking it up the arse, and we wrote it first person witness form describing it as something we saw for ourselves through a window, then we must assume that you would find that entertaining as well, amirite?
