SEC already set precedent this season.

Two players already had headshot and were suspended THE NEXT GAME.

if league office suddenly breaks away from policy that they implemented twice this season, it will look very fishy.

That being said, I expect nothing to happen if media does not pursue issue

Live play a Murray would have made a tackle if it came his way. Dial led with hi shoulder and it was a clean hit in a rough game. You and your team were not up to it so go cry someplace else.

do you really believe this?

I bet you think the roughing call on AJ was the right call?

We're those players flagged during the game?

Correct, live play. But Murray was barely jogging. He was not pursuing to make a tackle. Clearly unnecessary roughness. Debatable on whether or not he should be suspended. But clearly a penalty that was missed.

This isn't the supreme court Rouge, precedents don't mean dick in this instance. You won't hear a peep out of the SEC about this. We're talking about Alabama in the National Championship game. Head shot suspensions are for teams like South Carolina.

Thing is, 5 years ago we'd be debating whether or not that's a penalty. Suspension would have been laughable.

And that makes it ok. Great Gump logic.

who said its okay? i just said its funny, and it is. it would be less funny if he had been hurt on the play. if you cant enjoy a hit, you should go watch another sport

EC is going to have to make him sit for that headhunting on Murray

Conference already made two suspensions this season. Precedent has been set. If they sit him for first game next season, it will be a total crock.

Oh I'm laughing on this one. Did the league suspend the aTm player for his head to head on Lacey. Maybe they should suspend #9 for getting trucked by a freshman Yeldon (he at least hung on)
or B. Rambo for running from Lacey.

note to Murray. When you throw a pick you are no longer on offense. You are now a defender and you might get blocked.

The South Carolina player was not penalized I think, but I could be wrong.

Should have been flagged but shite happens. LSU fans jerking off about it is hilarious. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

I honestly don't believe the SEC cares one bit about how they appear.

I expect this to be a "HUGE" non issue outside of Georgia.

Without doubt. 5 yrs ago, that's no penalty. If he had him him more from the side it'd be one thing. He hit him from the front though, Murray was just looking right with his head, while his body was hit from the front. One play that irked me, besides the tipped pass, was Milliner getting the penalty for unsportsmanship for pushing the Ga player, after the Ga player stuck his fingers in his helmet poking at him. I hate, 1. That the person retaliating is the one always caught, it seems, and 2. That the instigator rarely is.

This is a non-issue. It will be forgotten by Tuesday.
