My suggestion is for Murray not to pursue the man with the ball that intercepted it if he's afraid to get hit! If he had sat down he wouldn't risk getting hit. How come nobody says anything when all the guys get blindsided on punt returns???? OMFG!

The only reason I will say there is a chance is that such a big deal was made of it, especially because no flag was thrown. The national attention was on this game and that was simply GLARING!

Bama fans in this thread defending the play of one of their many thugs. How disgraceful but what else can you expect from their classless fanbase.

The play had already been whistled dead and he was walking to his sideline. That player should have been ejected from the game. And, if Saban has any class, he'll throw the guy off the team.

You can pin your hopes on this since you've been disappointed on everything else.

LoL, no. The play was alive and Murray was pursuing the returner. It should have been flagged for head-to-head, nothing more.

bullshite and you know it.

Live play a Murray would have made a tackle if it came his way. Dial led with hi shoulder and it was a clean hit in a rough game. You and your team were not up to it so go cry someplace else.

They will not sit him for a NC game against an out of conference opponent. He may have to sit the first game of regular season next year in he comes back but he will not miss the Natty.

My guess is he will be suspended for the first game next season if he isn't a senior, kinda like the Ohio State five.

Ugh

If this was a scenario that could happen, sit him for the BCSNC. Screw that "penalty on a later date" BS.
