The only thing that makes me not want to go to the game is I can't drink during it.

Luckily, there's this thing before the game, called tailgating. Problem fricking solved. Screw watching the games on TV. Hell I'd go to every away game if I could.

i rather a night Saints game in the Dome to anything the SEC can offer. Nothing beats a Monday, Saturday, or Sunday night in the dome.

I pretty much agree. I just like to sit, drink beers, and not have to deal with traffic.

And games are way expensive. I could buy a ton of groceries for my family for what I'd pay for even a creampuff game. I'm not a fan that's going to sacrifice stuff for a stupid game.

Both State and Ole Miss' attendance is up to where we're both planning on expanding our stadiums soon. So your opinion is stupid.

Go to the game.
Then watch the replay on your big tv at home next to the restroom.

I'm curious what the ages are of those who agree with OP and do not. I think it's obvious that those of us who are older (34 here) can agree with OP more so.

I still love going to games, though I Definitely do not need to go to every home game for the reasons OP and Monticello stated.

I spend a lot of Friday nights going to HS football games here in Texas. I know that HS football atmospheres are not the same where most of you live, but when the hogs are playing MO State, I MUCH prefer to spend Friday nights in Texas watching 5A and Saturday's in front of my TV as opposed to driving back to AR to see us beat a cupcake.

To me it's about tailgating. To be with a group of people you like to be with makes going to a football game worth it. But my last year of going to the games before I gave up my tickets to my daughter was a disaster. It was me and 3 lazy women that wanted me to do everything.............you are right. It's best to stay at home, unless it's all about tailgating..........

I wish I could go to games. But living 500 miles away hurts my chances.

Gonna try to go to the Clemson and USC games this year. If the SEC somehow pics up VaTech in the future, that's even closer.

If you're not going to go in the game you might as well watch it at your tailgate spot instead of at home.
