Alabama has won more AP national championships (9) than Ole Miss has won games over Alabama (8).

Don't worry about it.

....

Six.

But, still, that's the second best streak in the country, so it's gotta count for something god dammit.

1. Play in the SEC where you usually play 5 or 6 a year.
2. Throw in a few games against Oklahoma State, West Virginia and Georgia Tech when they are good.
3. Have a four year Sly Croom era
4. Follow it up with a Mullen era where he is KNOWN for beating teams he is supposed to and losing to teams he's not.

The last top 20 team Mississippi State beat was in 2004. And that was #20 Florida!

Before that, they beat #3 Florida and #15 Auburn in back to back weeks in 2000.

My undergraduate class--1995--never lost a football game at Kyle Field in our four years as students.

Cool. I'm originally from Alabama and went to MSU. During my time as an undergraduate, we were 7-1 against Alabama and Auburn.

technically you are probably right, but Auburn is 8-4 against Alabama when playing in Auburn, and 7-2 when playing in Tuscaloosa.

They are tied at 2-2 when playing in Montgomery.

Overall including birmingham games they are 35-42-1, so I guess that makes their record when playing in Birmingham 18-34-1. Not sure how the "technical" home/away designation was split up in Bammerham.

Why does LSU typically only play BCS Conference bottom feeders?

Considering how badly Auburn bitched that Birmingham was an Tide home stadium.... then yes, Bham counts as Home, in which case Alabama has a winning home record vs Auburn.

I agree wholeheartedly. In that case, Alabama absolutely does not have a winning away record against Auburn, as was originally stated (winning home and away record against every team in the SEC)

To try to keep up with Alabama's easy schedule.

Duh.

Obviously. It always goes back to Bama for 2 schools.

You should be honored South Carolina. You hold both a loss in your most recent game vs. Richt and an all time losing record vs. Richt (5-8). No small feat
But that wasn't even his point... :cocksessed:

To answer the OP, Spurrier is one of two coaches (the other being Bear) that has beaten every SEC team at least once. (Doesn't include A&M but that will get fixed this year). Who hasn't Nick Saban beaten? Or does he make it three?

A&M has won 24 consecutive games against TCU dating back to 1973.

Touche.

Still most teams on that OOC list are historically conference bottom feeders. I count 2 impressive wins in the bunch.

Every team in the SEC has either a current 3 game losing streak vs. Mark Richt or a non-winning record vs. Mark Richt and has still not won a national title.

You didn't "fix" anything, in fact you made it grammatically incorrect. The way you wrote it makes it sound like every team in the SEC still has not won a national title.
