This past year LSU was the first SEC team to have the following in the same year.
2 1000 yd WR's
1000 yd RB
3000 yd passer
That is a hell of a lot of offense for such a poor record.

Mississippi State has lost 42 straight games to teams ranked in the Top 20. They have three wins in that streak against Top 25 teams, but all were ranked 20-25.

35-doesn't really matter 7-2 blah

more impressive to me is the fact that the current record is 55-54-8.
is there any other rivalry that has been played over 100 times that is seperated by a single game?
Heck, is there even one separated by just 3 or 5?

Minn/Wisky is the longest running rivalry and is seperated by 3 games.
Mizz/Kansas is no longer played due to Mizz running away but that is seperated by 1 game...unlike the Texas/A&M game which is decidedly lopsided towards Texas.

You should be honored South Carolina. You hold both a loss in your most recent game vs. Richt and an all time losing record vs. Richt (5-8). No small feat

10-3?
Auburn would have killed for that the past few years.

Ole Miss has an all time winning % of 1.000 when it comes to the party... Closer to .550 on the football field unfortunately.

Let it be known, before they come in here and say it's 57-54-9, that KU beat that arse in 1960 and the official NCAA record books say so.

Mizzou football's streak of 50+ straight games with a turnover is pretty impressive. I think it's the second longest streak ever?
*EDIT* I think it's 44 games

Ah, should have said "BCS teams".
...or more exactly, "Teams from conferences that were previously considered 'automatic-qualifiers'".

In 1938 and 1939, Neyland's Vols set NCAA records when they shut out 17 straight opponents for 71 consecutive shutout quarters. His '39 squad is the last NCAA team in history to hold every regular season opponent scoreless.
Those teams gave up 30 points total in a two year span of 22 games, going 21 and 1
