Why those 2 teams? Your name is tigerbama, so I assume you're just making a double homer pick...but why in the world would you think 2 QBs who have never gotten significant PT before (and 1 who has yet to even take a 1A snap!) would be better than perhaps the top returning QB in the conference.

I'm not sure what you're speaking of here.I simply stated that I liked what your qb did as 1st year starter, and at seasons end,the only 2 i thought did a little better was jj and g-mac.he has a WORLD of potential.I picked JJ for top returner, with your qb as 2nd because he GREW UP and showed greatness. Have a little faith in your team. And I am a bama fan,but only name i could pick at time. I'm trying to figure out how to change it still

Oh crap man, that's my fault, I misread your post. I thought that was your prediction for this coming year 2011. I didn't realize you were talking about last year. Carry on!

My friend who is a graduate assistant at Georgia recently told me that if Georgia eclipsed the 7-5 mark, it should be considered a successful season. He said UGA's decline is mainly a talent issue. Thought it was interesting. TIFWIW

Gonna have to disagree with that. 7-6 is never, under any circumstances, a successful season. We have enough coming back on both sides of the ball and the schedule to win the east next year. Not saying we WILL, but we're capable. 7-6 would be catastrophic, not successful.

Considering that my source works full-time with the team and you don't, I'll stand by his statement that Georgia fans should not be disappointed with 7-5.

Your first mistake is assuming I don't have sources with the team as well, which I do. But even if I didn't, I keep up with the program about as much as anyone can who isn't directly involved with the team. Just because I'm not in the lockerroom doesn't mean I don't know what we have, our strengths, weaknesses, our potential, etc. Georgia fans absolutely should be disappointed with 7-5, it would be a travesty.

Georgia will win 9 games at a minimum,if Richt is worth his salt. I think they rebound with a great season, again,JMO

I sure hope they do, but last season really left me jaded. I'm not getting my hopes up too terribly high. I do think it'll take winning the east for Richt to stay on board.

There is enough talent over there to finish better than 7-5 with that favorable schedule.

Good analysis WG_Dawg - I concur that the schedule sets up better in 2011 and would be disappointed in 7-5.

Any of the big 6 schools should be livid at 7-5. I think maybe that guy was just speaking tounge-in-cheek.

The only thing that matters is if you lose to Boise, you better not win a single SEC game except Vandy or OM. If you beat them, none of that matters.
