Miami is just ok right now. They'll lose a couple games that are coming up.

This is probably UGAs year. Theyll be back up there in 2019 or so. They lose too much this year and arent quite at the Bama and Clemson reload stage. I an also reserving judgment to see UGA play against an actual football team. ND was a good team and win but UGA could have easily lost that game. The SEC East is a god damn joke and a disgrace. Yeah I know GT lost to UT but we dominated them except in turnovers. UGA is looking very good though I just wonder whats going to happen when better teams slow down the run and make Fromm throw more than 10 times in a game. Fromm is benefitting greatly from playaction because the run game is so dominant. Lets see what happens when WRs are challenged and tight windows are presented rather than wide open targets.
Regarding Miami, I am fairly confident GT is going to well against them offensively. Miami has struggled in run D this year and FSU who has an awful OL had success yesterday.
Berrios scares the daylights out of me for our defense. Those types of WRs eat us up.
Also GT ran at will on Miami last year but we GIFTED them 14 points on back to back bad snaps from our freshman center where we fumbled and MIA ran them back. We lost the game by 14 but came back to within 7 in the 4Q.

You can get into whatever semantics that you want. Nickel, star, etc.. every defense has a different name for the defender who is over the slot receiver with 5 DBs.

I would fap for days. Would be so classically Georgia.

I was thinking you meant our star player, as in Roquan smith. You meant the star position.

Miami has a easy schedule and has benefited a lot, there hardest game is gt and maybe vtech, they are overrated

I'll allow it.

I agree, the East is shite. UGA will walk through that division, only tough SEC team they play is Auburn. I think Florida will be the first team that can stop their run and put them in tough and predictable passing downs, so we'll see about Fromm against UF and Auburn.
I saw FSU running it on Miami yesterday, all I could think of was GT doing it over and over to them. Everyone is riding high on Miami right now but I think they are the same ole Miami team as the last 3-4 years. Richt isn't the kind of coach that comes in and lights a fire under anybody, if they lose one game it will snowball on them

Auburn's defense is no joke and their offense was improved greatly since the lost to Clemson. I think Clemson played them at the right time. Auburn will be our biggest task, however I don't think we can overlook anybody left on our schedule. I think that is what Oklahoma did yesterday and look what happened to them.

FSU had 203 yards rushing on Miami yesterday but the interesting part of that is that Miami did not give up a rushing defense. I'm sure GT will get their rushing yards but this will be the best defense GT has seen at this point. I'm sure Miami will have some bumps but Richt has the program trending upward and it wouldn't surprise me if Miami ends up in the ACC championship game. I think the same could be said for VT. I think with both these programs improving, the ACC could get very interesting in the next few years.

No. He could win 5 titles in Miami. It's not going to change the fact that he was never taking us to a championship game at Georgia.

Should have won by 2 TD's and they're better than everyone in the ACC sans Clemson

Let's not forget SC beating NC State...must be a really down year for the ACC

We really don't run it all that much and Fromm has been put in numerous 3rd and long situations with tight windows.

Regarding Miami,
Perfect timing for GT...they're coming a big win over a rival. Its really the main reason you might have a shot.

That would be absolutely hilarious
Hope those teams meet up in postseason

I've always loved Richt but there was so many missed opportunities while he was at Georgia.

Do you think Tray Matthews would be a big time contributor on yalls defense this year? I think that defense would be even better if he was there still

Miami might would have an advantage, basically every impact player on both sides of the ball for UGA was brought in by Richt
How in the hell would that give Miami an advantage?
