Georgia did not have the balls to do what LSU chose to do.

Not really. The feeling around here and everywhere else was that beating Florida would be about the only thing that would get Richt another year.
UGA then got blown the frick out by Florida.

nah. it's just that nobody on a national basis gave much of a damn what Georgia did. their brand has been blase' for awhile now. Miles has many friends in the national sports media; they love the guy. Richt is a great guy but not near as gregarious as Miles and he has not been a thing on the national front.
LSU's ploy didn't work but at least we tried for the home run. it's out now that we have the money and booster support to try again. personally, I think any pub is better than no pub.

Georgia actually had a legitimate reason to fire Mark Richt. What has the man done in the last 10 years? Absolutely nothing.
This.
Say what you want about Miles, but he's won a NC and 2 SEC titles in the last decade, and he did it in the toughest division in football. Richt hasn't won jack shite in the last decade, even in a horrifically bad East.

Did better than what Les has accomplished the past 4 years
He won the East twice. Big freaking deal. Memphis could win the SEC East right now. 4 of the 7 teams finished with losing records.

Les should be given an academy award last night for the way that he played the sympathy role. He played it to the hilt.

I agree with everything you said and upvoted your post.

Yeah 2012 and 5 yards away from going to the NC game was eons ago. Make no mistake Georgia is a better job than LSU and probably Bama as well.

h with 2 title game appearances, winning 1. If they did is was the wrong call.
So because Les won a title we are permanently handcuffed to him until he retires?

Never said that... but to compare their careers as similar is laughable.

The media decided if LSU would fire or keep Miles. Where is all the national media crying about how unjust it is to fire Ritch.

Stop trying to equate yourself with UGA and richt, situations are totally different.

Yeah basically it's like a bunch of LSU fans got hypnotized at the ball game and forgot what they were angry about. Aggie is bad, really really bad. I think they've not scored over 10 points since maybe the Bama game (and 7 of those against Bama was a punt return TD.)
