This has been the most embarrassing week in LSU football history. Georgia just executed how to properly let go of your head coach. It was a calculated decision they had in mind all along. They didn't leak information out to get the public's decision if it was a bad move or not! LSU cowered to the pressure of the media and decided to keep a coach who has steadily declined the past 4 years.

Now, to make me melt even harder they are going in guns blazing on trying to hire Tom Herman. UGA will be set up for the next 15 years as LSU will most likely can Les next season for not changing the offense and you will see a half-arse coaching search that will send us back to the bottom of the SEC west.

Everything that happened to UT keeping Mack Brown too long will happen to LSU. We had a chance to become better with a hire like Herman or Mullen and we royally fricked it up

LSU deserves to be made fun of.. and Alleva needs to be taken to the street corner and be beaten like a red headed step child.. then fired.

To be fair, I think UGA had planned far more ahead of time to part ways with Richt. Maybe even before the season started.

The talk about firing Les had probably only gone on less than one month.

Mullen is overrated but Herman is like what Meyer was at Utah IMO.

I still don't believe Houston would let him go this fast though and think he jumps to Texas as soon as that job opens.

Georgia has demonstrated how to handle such a situation professionally...is the LSU athletic department headed by baboons?

Georgia actually had a legitimate reason to fire Mark Richt. What has the man done in the last 10 years? Absolutely nothing.

It is a shame the way Georgia is handling Richt. He is the greatest coach in Georgia history and should be given the chance to right the ship. Georgia should be ashamed of themselves.

And hiring Herman to boot? Nice move by Georgia I think, time will tell.

He just won 9 games, why are you Georgia fans not satisfied with that? Y'all aren't Alabama or Texas. 8-10 wins is Georgia's ceiling. Crazy y'all are gonna fire a great coach and an incredible man.

Been hearing that Richt was possibly out a month ago. Kind of salvaged things with the Auburn win but the only reason it is a surprise is that they did it even with the possibility of a 10 win season. Maybe the difference is the LSU fans vs the UGA fans. We have been hearing the AD liked Mullen a month ago and the AD wanted to do something last year and the President said no. Where has everyone been?

If they keep Jacob eason... It will be a very, very good 5 year record for that man. Sorry you can't research coaches
