I'll give our fans a shite ton of credit...a lot of times the blue hairs in sanford dont' really do their part to make the place loud but our road fans are frickin incredible. If it wouldn't inconvenience me personally I wouldn't mind playing like 10 games a year on the road. Our road dawgs get buck.

Also..as yet another aside...in addition to browning's screen pass being forgotten, there was also greene's drive after skyler's catch. Once again we look done for, also backed up towards the lsu students with now hardly any time left, and we put together a mini-drive. We moved our way down to like the 30 before webster made that acrobatic pick.
ETA: Oh, and one MORE thing I just remembered as a neat little footnote is that that was richt's first road loss as head coach. undefeated in 01, undefeated in 02, and I think we had 1 or 2 away games in 03 before that one. Hell of a stretch to start a career.
In fact, I wonder where that would rank all time..

Tailgate was incredible.
We had a ton of UGA people stop in at our spot for drinks and we fed them gumbo and jambalaya. All the UGA fans at our spot were pissed because Georgia doesn't go to LSU enough

The biggest tragedy in the SEC is the fact that Georgia and LSU hardly ever get to play each other.

Definitely, I thought Greene had finally figured our D out on that last drive. The Webster pick wasn't even a poorly thrown ball, just a great moment of skill on his part. I remember watching a replay of the CBS telecast and even Todd Blackledge yelled out "oh, what a play!"

pretty underrated, IMO. He rarely, if ever, gets brought up in QB conversations which is understandable considering his stats weren't other-wordly. However, he set the all time NCAA wins record going 42-10 starting every game of his career. Won the east twice and the SEC once. Still holds the following career SEC records:
5th in completions
2nd in yards
11th most TD passes
5th in completions
2nd in yards
11th most TD passes

It was 2nd down we just dropped em for a loss and it was a screen pass to browning perfect call Saban smelled blood and brought the house it sucked the air right out of the stadium we were silent then my buddy turns to me and says most big ko returns come right afte a big play and sure enough devery ran it back to like the opp 45 the rest is history that's when the dream became a reality

I love our road fans. The Mizzou game in 2012 was awesome. The further away from Athens you go, the better the road fans are from my experience.

My only memory from that '08 game is that pick6 thrown by Jarrett Lee on the very first pass of the game. Ran us out of the stadium from the start.

I remember both of the 03 georgia games well. I also remember the 2005 SEC championship game vs georgia

not just Georgia. but we have to maintain those "rivalries" don't we?
Georgia and Tennessee are the two schools I miss the most in the SEC. it's like we're in a different conference.
i'm going on record saying the expansion sucks because of this. I love playing A&M every year but wish it was a non conference game.

I was there. Sat in the upper deck. Best part of the day was the tailgating. Had a blast with neighboring fans but took us forever to get out of the stadium area. Traffic was horrible.
