People get too superstitious. They're just uniforms 
Team wearing them is the same. They'll win if they're the better team, and lose if they aren't.
But it's simpler to blame the unis for L's, I guess.

UGA always has the talent. They are LSU of the East. Always loaded with talent. Impressive talent.

it didn't backfire at all. Ask any alabama fan on this board that was there, I guarantee you they'll tell you it was one of the best, most intimidating pre-game atmospheres they've ever experienced. The only problem was that they had a much, much better football team than us. And that wouldn't have changed had we worn red jerseys.
People are far, far too hung up on that game. We're 2-1 in blackouts with 2 total blowout wins in big arse games.

The last 10 years under richt we've brought in somewhere around the 10th ranked class. Sounds pretty good, until you realize that 3 or 4 other SEC teams are ahead of us. People tend to overrate our talent for some reason. We recruited very well under richt, but bama/uf/lsu have recruited extremely well/elite.

I like the red better, but at least black is part of their color scheme. Why does Nike put such a crappy looking thick stripe around the collar of so many of the uniforms now? I liked them better when the stripe around the collar was thinner.

The recruits seem to like them and I personally think they look sharp, I'm all for it. UGA would have been destroyed by Bama in '08 in their typical red and black, people made too big of a deal about it.
