Who on staff evaluates and coaches QBs? Hold that person accountable for the "shitty QBs" since that's the only thing keeping you from winning ships.

Gene's last year, 0-8 in the conference. 3-9 overall.. Most in embarrassing fashion. Gene is a nice guy, but Gus is a better coach.

If Gus wins fewer than 9 or 10 games this year, good chance he joins Chizik in the unemployment line

So Lashlee did all QB evaluations, recruiting, and development and Gus had no role in it? That's a little bit impossible to believe.
I think Gus is a better coach than Chizik, but if we are going to say he wins ships when he has QBs then I'd question why he misses on so many and hasn't developed a QB yet. All his best QBs (except Mustain) had someone else coach/develop them (Cam, Marshall, Stidham). At some point the HC has to be accountable.

I still haven't forgiven Gus for 2014. That team was completely stacked and had we been able to field even a slightly below average defense then AU goes 11-1 and is in the playoffs. That team going 8-5 and completely imploding after the A&M game was inexcusable.

That 2014 team should have easily won 10 games, but they were not a championship team and it was more than just the defense. That oline couldn't pick up crucial drive extending, red zone important short yardage at all. It cost us against MSU specifically and Bama.
