I guess Bama nation just doesn't understand the injustice of LSU playing in the SECCG while Bama waits in the wings to play LSU for all the marbles after a home loss to LSU.
and Gary D also talked about the rest of the Nation being left out of this game...

Congrats? But I could swear LSU fans think the AP trophy is completely worthless. See 2003.

How about we just take the combined score of the two games and determine a champion? If we win by more than 3, no bitching from LSU fans.

I said, actually Gary D implied that it wasn't right for Bama to be in the MNC game bypassing the SEC title game which all these has been very meaningful..
He said the SEC game this year has or is losing it's luster..because LSU and Bama are likely to play anyways... for the national title

if alabama and lsu play for the nc, then they play. alabama is not going to turn down an invite for the nc game b/c you or anyone thinks it's an "injustice," just like lsu wouldn't turn down the invite if the tables were turned.

Y'all can claim a split if you want and take the AP, that's fine by me. But it's the one that goes home with a W on January 9th and that crystal ball trophy you all have two of you like to flaunt in our face that will be recognized as the national champion. Just sayin

I truly believe that lsu is having one of the great seasons of all time, but where lsu fans are wrong is trying to turn that into winning a championship before the championship is played. If there are national champs they will win on the 9th.
