I would take Garrett's backup over his weak arse performances his last 2 games.
But I guess Garrett's backup isn't good where Fournette's backup ran for 285 yards and 4 TDs on your gritty Injured DE.

What do you mean? Who's going to "make" them play?

The school should honestly. They commit to them. Weak arse excuse that you want big bucks playing a game but sit your arse out while the rest of the team is out there enjoying it while it lasts.

No, it's actually more like you've gotten a job offer that will set you for life but it starts the same day as graduation. So you can either walk at graduation for your family who supported you through college or go ahead and prepare for the future

Why do insecure LSU fans always feel the need to interject irrelevant nonsense like this that has nothing to do with this thread?

Garrett will be good for a year once the Pats pick him up after stinking it up Clev

didn't find his last season in college impressive.
Because it wasn't.
He was basically the first pick of the draft since his senior year of HS and his Sophhomore year pretty much cemented that bearing any catastrophic injury.
I may be in the minority here but most these kids that are this highly touted don't give two shits about winning at the collegiate level, they want the NFL money.
Clowney was preserving himself for that first overall pay slot.
And I would have done the same exact thing.
And as seen now it's paid off for him (people forget this year he was first team all pro, his first when he moved to his natural DE posistion

He doesn't have a natural position on the Texans defense.

He moved onto the defensive line and played with his hand in the dirt at DE this year.
I know some Gamecock fans don't like him on the team because they run a 3-4 but I actually would love for him to stay with Houston.
Not a big fan of Watt and all his "look at me I'm so much better than you because all I do is work hard" shtick, but the guy is a professional and I would love for Clowney to learn under him.

I probably watched every snap Clowney has played in the NFL as a Texan fan. He was great, but he's not in Watt's league and he doesn't even get to the QB as well at Mercilus.
He still has a ways to go with his high ceiling and I think he leaves to a 4-3 defense when he can like Mario Williams did.

I never said he was. Just think he could learn how to be a professional under him.
Not just technique, but how to treat his body correctly, weight room, off-season shite etc.
Won't lie, first two seasons thought he was a bust, but this year he was All-Pro.
So I guess it's starting to come together

He just couldn't stay healthy. The flashes were there. I'm excited to see him and Watt both 100%. If the can gel together watch out.

We were talking about sitting out a game because of injury.
Your backup is relevant in that situation isn't it?
