2003 Auburn vs. Southern Cal - Auburn had a high preseason ranking and got shutout.

Bama-Florida 99 (didn't both teams miss XPs late?)

Florida missed the extra point attempt in OT, leaving the score 39-33. Shaun Alexander scores. Alabama missed the extra point attempt, but Florida was offsides. The re-kick was nearly missed, but it snuck through. To be fair, Ryan Pflugner was injured and Chris Kemp was kicking.

Some great ones mentioned...I would add the Cigar game in 99. Auburn came in with Tubbs as a 1st year coach after winning 1 SEC game the year before and destroyed LSU 41-7 in Tiger Stadium. Of course, then the players lit up cigars on the field and the band played Happy Birthday to Tubbs. LSU knew their season was over starting with the 1st SEC game after having high hopes. I remember the sky falling. LSU went on to lose 8 in a row.

Auburn hasn't won at LSU since. The 2001 return to Tiger Stadium had to be one of the most bizarre ever. ..a December regular season game that had a penalty 10 minutes before the game started, an onside kick to start the game by Saban and a fight at half between the LSU band and the Auburn kicker. Tubbs said LSU fans were throwing Cigars at him during the game and one of the Auburn players said an LSU fan tried to light Tubbs' hair on fire with a cigar as he tried to walk off of the field...hilarious.

Although it was basketball, the Mardi Gras Miracle melt would have been a sight to behold. LSU and UK have had a number of good melt games.

And lots of people forget both teams were undefeated (I think 7-0) going into the game.

different helmets on

Back in the day there was no rule requiring teammates to wear the same color helmet. Coach Bryant, who had a masterful eye for loopholes just such as that, would have the offensive linemen wear red helmets and the eligible receivers wear white to help the QB see them better. I don't think it took very long for them to close that loophole after that. xD

Or the 2005 game when Kenny Irons ran through LSU like a wild greased pig for 200+ but we missed 5 field goals and lost the game.

1993-LSU Bama at Bryant-Denny. A 5-6 Curley Hallman-led LSU team beating Stallings and Alabama on the road to end Bama's 31 game non-losing streak. Gumps would have set their hair on fire.

Meh. After 31 games, you're just wondering when it's gonna happen. I guess you'd have to take my word for it.

It was a bizarre arse whooping, though.

Lsu running 4 plays in 10 seconds at the end of the end of the game leading to a last second touchdown. The clock never ran on one of those plays.

Cheating arse Cajuns.

Also, bully cannon stepped out of bounds.

And the first tRevenge game that lsu caught the brunt of was that 21-0 asswhipping we have them in the bowl game after that. Amazing....two huge games squeeked out by lsu with questionably plays leading to a 21-0 asswhipping.
