Adidas has a negative valuation, so you're automatically at the bottom.

Auburn just re-upped their deal with Under Armour last October and they have the most lucrative deal in the conference right now.
A few other programs just recently re-upped their deals with Nike so they will not be getting new contracts anytime soon.
We had a bidding war going-on between Nike and Under Armour and last I heard Nike was way out in front in the $65 million range so this news today was a little surprising to me. I thought for sure we would be in Nike stuff next season, especially since Dawn Staley and Frank Martin were both pushing for Nike.
Maybe Under Armour is going to give Dawn Staley her own shoe like Nike did, I dunno.

Why would a basketball school want under armor

Sure but Under Armor still seems like a stranger fit. Doesn't really matter though if they put the money into the sport.

Pretty sure Bama's Nike contract is up for renegotiation in 2018.

Alabama's seven year deal with Nike was inked in 2010, so next year brings a new deal.

Can't find the royalty details but we receive 3.1M in equipment and clothing from Nike annually.
There's another $255,000 allowance for coaching staff clothing.
If Foley is trying to keep that royalty money quiet it's either a huge amount and he doesn't want other to know about it or it's a bust and he doesn't want others to know about it.
Since we just signed with Nike again, I'm assuming it's a good deal for UF.

It's difficult to see what the UA golf strategy is. I don't think they intend to make equipment, only apparel. But it can't hurt to be the primary sponsor of the 22-year old best golfer in the world.

For shoes and fan apparel, sure. But there are two primary reasons I'm glad USC stuck with UA.
The first is Nike's overuse of templates in their uniforms. Case in point, the sublimated image on the backs of all basketball jerseys right now. Most of the conference has it, and I don't like it.
The other reason I'm glad we didn't go with Nike is Nike's insistence on rebranding schools right now. They created new logos for Arkansas, UGA, Oregon State, and Arizona State for starters. With the exception of ASU, those rebranding efforts are underwhelming.

Yea, just wait until we our current deal runs out in 2017 and let me know who is poor.
