If the game were next weekend, I would pick AU to win. But with it being a month away, I think FSU wins. Time after time we have seen national title games that were supposed to be offensive storms turn in to defensive struggles and confused offensive coordinators. This is especially the case when the offense relies heavily on something new or different. AU's offense is not some silly gimmick, but a month is a long time for a defensive coordinator to watch 13 games of film and have his team ready for it.

Gus is better than Jimbo and it isn't even close.

I've seen this movie before. Auburn will dominate and win. FSU has not played anyone.

And it still won't be enough.

Has LSU made it to 2 NC in since 2008? Has LSU won 3 SEC championships since 2004? Auburn has.

Let's get real here. If Auburn and Bama played again next week on a nuetral field, anyone going to put your house on Auburn? Bama had that game won and Saban let his ego get in his way.

Think about how the aTm vs Aub game went. FSU has that much balance between run/pass but with a better stable of RB's. FSU has the WR's to do what Mizzu did and the RB's to gain yards in chunks. Both teams can run but FSU has a huge advantage with the pass. Total offense...you can't seriously call that anything more than a draw. Take the passing game into consideration and you would have to give the edge to FSU.

FSU's defense (in talent) is up there with Bama's but might actually be a better match against Auburn. FSU might have 7/8 faster defenders in the box than Bama did. There is absolutely no question that the huge edge on defense goes to FSU.

No one.

Auburn has had an amazing get hot streak the last 3 weeks.

If this were March Madness and the Title Game was next Saturday - I'd ride Auburn all the way.

But the title game is a month away. The feel-good miracle wins will wear off.

FSU's talent takes over IMO.

This isn't even debatable. Gus is COTY. Jimbo is due for his choke game. Even his Heisman QB said FSU was "known for dropping a game they shouldn't" right after they won their conference championship.

Jimbo is due.

Don't need the points. I take Auburn for the straight up win.

How did Bama have the game won when it was tied before the field goal?

Auburn probably would have beaten Bama in OT.

Lots of revisionist history with that game.

That's natural. Auburn's run game will tear FSU up and eat up a bunch of clock. The question mark for me is your pass defense. If they can get a few key stops, Tigers win.

AU has covered 10 games in a row.

AU has covered by 130 points in total or an average of 13 points per game.

I cannot remember a team covering 10 in a row and by almost two touchdowns on average over so many games.

No reason to think it ends now. Vegas has been so far off on AU it is sorta amazing really. I mean they have no fricking clue.

It would seem AU is the one due to fall apart then.
