I'm not an irrational person, I'll come back and give Arkansas all the credit in the world if they somehow turn into a good football team, but as of right now ya'll have won 2 SEC games in 2 years, recruited poorly, and basically been the most overrated team in the country this preseason when you really look at your returning players and stats compared to the rest of the SEC west. It'd be really nice if your fan base toned it down until something positive happens on the field for ya'll, just throwing that out there

OK. Fine. One more time, from the top. Despite what everyone says we are not a run first and only team. Arkansas is built around a pro style attack devoted to time of possession first foremost.
As a Texas fan said, before their ill fated bowl game with the Razorbacks, "Arkansas only goes with nothing but rushing if they think you are a b*tch."
You want a run first, second, and possibly third only team? Florida last year, LSU going forward, and Auburn if they have a solid rushing QB.
For our system of offense we don't want to be the foremost offense juggernaut unless we are damn good. We want to keep the ball, keep on the field, and choke the life out of our opponents.
Not to mention, as many an aggrieved Razorback fan can attest too, we had the wrong OC the last two years. Bert's biggest foulup is keeping Chaney as long as he did considering that in tight games, no matter how well we had been rushing the ball, Chaney had a noted tendency to go full out Air Raid in the second half.
Frankly I'm surprised we did as well as we did in rushing last season.

I think Arkansas COULD compete for the SEC West, but so could every other team in the division. While I think Bert's arrogance and near constant bitching about the hurry up (At least until this year's media days anyway) is annoying as frick, I think he was a good hire for Arky and has them going in the right direction.
He did walk into an absolute shite situation and that cannot be stressed enough. But to ignore how much sunshine pumping is going on in that article is asinine.
I'm not saying you shouldn't be excited about your football team. But frick, acknowledge that you're pumping sunshine and own it. Don't try to deny it like it somehow de-legitimizes your team.

Bielema hasn't bitched about the hurry up "constantly" since his first media day foray. That's just a myth perpetuated by Auburn fans.

Most people logically would assume that a team who started two sophomores and rotated in two true freshman in their secondary would improve quite a bit the next year

Arkansas on the other hand is 2-14 in the SEC in the past two years for a reason. Do you know that EVERY coach in the SEC that's won an SEC or national championship had at least 10 wins and won the SEC in his second season? Saban, Miles, Richt, Meyer, Spurrier. All of them saw almost immediate success, and Saban took over a MUCH worse program at LSU than Bert did at Arkansas
Good teams typically continue being good in college football, teams that go 2-14 in conference play in 2 years don't typically magically become a national championship contender unless they fire their coach. Take off the rose colored glasses and get a clue, Bert has done nothing to show that he's prepared to recruit with the big boys and win in the SEC. Until he does, your fan base should probably shut the frick up
But let's just completely ignore the way things typically go in college football so Arkansas fans can feel good about their shitty fat arse coach who has gone 3-9 and 7-5 in his two seasons. FYI Saban, Miles, Richt, Meyer, Harbaugh, etc. haven't ever fielded teams that are complete embarrassments
