It's so hilarious to see Bama haters act like Bama had anything to do with UAB ending football.

You didn't know that Nick Saban controls UAB's president?

This whole thing was done the wrong way, but saying "frick Bama" over and over isn't going to raise $44 million.

Lol at donkeys blasting the Alabama system for not wanting to spend money on something they themselves aren't willing to spend money on.

like Corso said, the full story will eventually come out. And once if does the UA BOT will look like a collection of petty assholes. This will be a giant Blackeye for Bama and forever a source of shame on them in the eyes of all college football.

Fact is not even uab cared about uab football until it was cancelled. Then Everyone was like "oh man we've been screwed" forgetting that they were literally taking money out of educating students to spend it on a team that played in a near empty stadium.

The people who did that study asked the UAB people to come up with an extravagant "Christmas wish list" of everything they could think of that might cost money.

Then they turned around and used it against them.

Underhanded dirty frickers. Typical bama and Bryant Jr white trash move we tend to expect now.

No it won't. Public will forget about it after today's games.

It's pathetic what they did to that program. UAB needs to separate from Alabama all together and change the name of the college.

Doing this because of fricking football would be idiotic and would end poorly for UAB.

Administration clearly doesn't want donations since they didn't even ask their biggest donors for money.

This is the dumbest argument being posed. The program has been around since 1991. You don't think they know how much donations they are capable of consistently collecting? They don't need one time "don't kill the program" donations. They need consistent, every year donations.

I hope the team gets a bowl game and I am not happy there won't be a team anymore, but I'm more dissapointed in the people of Birmingham who never came to games or provided support to the team. The tickets were cheap and Legion Field is perfectly fine during the day (or even at night with that lighted, guarded parking lot). The support wasn't there so the program wasn't sustainable. It's an unfortunate reality.

bullshite. And the only reason UAB doesn't have a good and successful program right now is due to bama intentionally working against them.

You are showing your willful stupidity gump. Something we expect I suppose. Lie, deny, deflect - the bama way.
