I'm just going to sit back and listen to y'all discuss separating UAB from the UA system (you know, because footbawwww) as if it's something that would be easy and would actually end well for UAB.

How would UAB be hurt by having independent governance? There seem to be a wealth of Bama folks who reference UAB's independence is seemingly cataclysmic terms, but when pressed about it, they can only wave their hand and mumble something about the System being important, apparently for its own sake. UAB is a public institution and should be run for the benefit of the university, the city of Birmingham, and the state of Alabama. How does keeping it under the UA umbrella do that? No one really seems to be able to identify that.

Like most Bama fans, most Auburn fans live in the same state as you and also didn't attend Alabama. So why would Bama fans have any better insight than us?
We probably don't. But you guys are the ones who care so much...maybe you should have played them instead of Samford. Maybe even a home and home...JH and Legion Field. You'd have sold out Legion Field and given them a huge payday. I mean, since you guys care so much.
