The team will definitely be bad for 2016 and probably 2017 unless Bill Clark pulls off a miracle. It also depends on what the NCAA allows UAB to do. 2018 will be the first year for a chance to even get back to mediocrity. Having a team is better than no team.

Oh, it will be very similar to Callaway and Garrick McGee's years so I hear what you're saying. However, Bill Clark's 1st year team last year was quite competitive and still went 6-6 in his first year. Especially considering the team the year before was the worst team in UAB history, which is saying something.

I guess it is all relative.
