I haven't read any of the posts in this particular thread past the first page, but I'm always amazed at the opinions of people other than Aggies and Longhorns on the subject.
A&M and Texas are the only two programs in the state that matter. Period. No amount of TCU/Baylor/Tech etc. winning or A&M/Texas losing will ever change that.
The fact that people outside of the Texas schools try to wedge anyone else into the conversation when it comes to "dominating" just shows how out of touch you are with the dynamics of the state.
I get that it's a hot topic because the two schools aren't playing right now but I swear, there's not another subject that more people feel encouraged to give off base opinions on with so much conviction.

There is no question Texas needs this game more than aTm. Texas is stuck in a conference where it only plays 1 "big" game a year. Even in years where TCU and Baylor are good, that is not a "big" game. It's like the old Big East....some quality teams here and there but no big dogs that excite the fans.
UT fans would never admit it, but there has to be a part of them that wonders why on earth they are stuck in a shitty conference while their little brother is playing an awesome schedule every year.

This is correct. However, in no way does this detract from the extreme examples of the Aggie subset of the SEC Lil' Bro complex exhibited in this thread.
