but LSU fans have expressed so much interest in the A&M/Texas game

I think LSU fans are just interested in aTm, considering we are now divisional foes. Same could be said for aTm fans regarding LSU.

Pryor, Elam, Dunning are all 4 stars. Evans was a 3 and he's better than any of them. Plus we have Watts returning who lead the team in INTs as a true freshman. It wouldhave been nice to get another corner, but ever are upgrading talent at all positions.

It is kind of funny that this guy and Aggie tards act like they killed Texas in recruiting, yet Texas finished with a higher ranked class on 247 sports last year

Deshazor Everett was all sorts of badass until he didn't even get invited to the combine

It's a pointless excercise arguing with that dude. He bends logic to fit his narrative, which is that a team who hasn't won a championship in 75 years is so close to running the SEC West when Bama's run ends. He is completely delusional.

yall have underachieved.

Honestly I think we overachieved and then fell back into the mean. Prior to the SEC move I would have predicted 8 wins year 3, but I would have expected fewer wins than we had year 1 or 2.

We certainly were given a window to easily take over Texas after Johnny and we have almost blown that chance, but really "king of Texas" is a fleeting title. It is like a WWE "World Champion" belt, often passed around with little re-world value outside of bragging rights.

I feel much better about more permanent advantages, like the fact that OU will be behind us in the facilities race for the next ten years at least. Everyone always focuses on Texas but it was 77-0 that killed Fran's recruiting, and it was OU's shitalk about racism that killed Sherman's. The SEC and good timing gave us a recruiting advantage that OU once had in the 00s, and that is huge.

In A&M was in the Big 12 last year, even if we had a nine or ten win season, and Baylor/TCU still win the thing we would be irrelevant with a barely top 30 class. Instead here we stil with a top 15ish class that is twice as good by the rankings than what the Big 12 winners pulled in. Until that dynamic changes I am not worried.

none of those are elite man to man corners IMO

eta Noel should see the field this year?

etaa I should also add I actually don't know much about Dunning. I'll admit that.

When the Bama run ends, LSU will lock up the 1-2 LA guys we'd previously lose to Bama, then continue taking top talent from Texas. None of which help Aggy.

When Armani has a better year than Mills for the 2nd year in a row maybe they will finally shut up.

If I was an Aggie fan I'd be pissed that we didn't play Texas the last 3 years, coulda chipped away at that overall record while TEXAS was down. No such luck though, jus gonna have to live with 3-12 in the last 15 games vs TEXAS, and brag about recruiting rankings, which TEXAS had a higher ranking this year........

Is Les just going to keep coaching forever?

I would be terrified if I was a LSU fan of Les's end. Yall are so due a bad coaching hire after two amazing hires, and you have the perfect cheap arse AD to get you there. I would hope Les is a modern Methuselah.

I won't promise an A&M win next year, but I promise no matter who wins we won't shut up.
