100% correct

Still, as poorly as our athletics department has been run the last half century, a&m won't surpass Texas in any of the three major sports in our lifetime.

You really think Baylor and TCU would have beaten A&M in '12?

Or '13?

Sure, We did.

You won because you held A&M below 20 points.

Do you seriously think Baylor or TCU were capable of that?

Keep in mind, these two teams have a combined 2 victories over A&M in the last 30 years.

I would argue we have a better Women's Basketball program right now today. So you are wrong.

1 if Oklahoma State wasn't dealing with a program tragedy heading in to Aimes and zero if the Purple Wizards QB wasn't concussed before the Baylor game.

Alabama owes all of its recent success to the Big 12 getting in their own way.

This game needs to be played. It needs to be played on Thanksgiving weekend.

We'll never know if Texas would have beaten us. Colt and his father decided playing the Bama D might expose him both as a QB and physically and decided not to play. Okie Light loses to Iowa state. This is not debateable. If they don't pull of this miracle we aren't in the NC game. I would love to see a NC trophy from that season in the athletic complex at ISU. We owe them big-time.

It was a miracle in part because of the tragedy within the Oklahoma State Athletic Dpeartment. And Colin Klein's concussion leading to K-State lose to a terrible Baylor team in 2012, otherwise the Purple Wizard dismantles Notre Dame. You owe the Big 12 for all of Saban's NC trophies at Alabama. Hell he had to play Big Game Bob for his title at LSU. Saban is nothing without the Big 12.

I'd buy that excuse if Oklahoma State didn't have a 17 point lead going into the fourth quarter.

Out of curiosity, is the cotton bowl not considered a NY6 bowl? I was under the impression that it is.

It is now, but it wasn't when the BCS was still going on. That's why I didn't include it. A lot of times the Cotton Bowl (or Peach Bowl) had teams that definitely wouldn't have made a NY6 game.

As Shane Falco puts it... quicksand, my friend. Once one thing goes wrong, it starts to slip in to your mind. The more your struggle the more confusing it is and the deeper you sink. Muscle memory escapes you. A different part of your mind is responsible for doing even the most simple things. Close your eyes. Inhale. Exhale. Not too much, not to little. Breathe in and out as perfectly, routinely, and effortlessly as you did before you were thinking about it. You didn't have to think about breathing before. Why do you have to do it now? Was that breathe as long as is should have been? Was the exhale too long or too short? What about the inhale? You're unsure of it, but your breathe just caught up to you like you did something wrong.

I couldn't agree with you more CGSC. It's not like the loss all of a sudden hit the coaches and players in the 4th quarter of that game. The letdown would have come in the 1st quarter.
