the point of my post was obviously completely lost on you.
All UGa fans, me, my brethren, A.L.L. UGA fans have said tghe same this whole ENTIRE time.... that LF had more potential and a higher ceiling. Nobody ever anywhere has denied that he's had more natural God given talent. So, after both of their freshman years in 2014, when NC was light years better than LF, we said that NC was better SO FAR. So now that after 2 games LF has showed out, all LSu fans say LF is better.
After 2 games. So, 2 games > the other 13 games they've played in their careers.
That's what I think is so idiotic about your fanbase (not you in particular c4lsu...there's a ton of yall so you run together, this isn't peronally about you specifically). The entirety of 2014 NC was clearly better and it was excuse after exuse after exuser. Now, after 2 games in '15 when LF has looked better it's "OMG LF IS SO MUCH BETTER HERE COMES A HEISMAN AND #1 DRAFT PICK".
That's all I'm saying, it's just a bit hypocritical. It's like yall were just waiting on pins and needles for LF to FINALLY have a better showing than chubb and now he's the goat. And btw, all last year..hell their entire careers (!) I've said the exact same thing that I will capitalize below so you'll remmber it:
THEY ARE BOTH ELITE, TOP FLIGHT, INCREDIBLE, AWESOME, UNBELIVEABLE RUNNING BACKS. Last year Chubb was clearly, without question, better. This year, LF has a leg up. But keep in mind this year is 2 games (for lsu at least). You wanna talk about only this year? The nod goes to LF and I don't think anyone will deny that. Overall in their relatively short careers? It's chubb, and only LSU fans would deny that.
So, please tell me what of the above is incorrect.

So for the next 1 1/2 years, let's all just sit back and enjoy them because who knows when we'll see 2 more like them playing amongst each other.

Many of us stand under 6 ft tall, could scarcely break 6 on the 40, can't bench our body weight, and are older than the players that are discussed on this forum. We live vicariously through players with whom we have no real association but project ourselves onto them due to the tribalistic nature of Man. And it's fun as shite. It's a hobby.
I was thinking something like this, but you stated it more eloquently that I would. I was just gonna say that the chance to start or participate in senseless pissing match threads is why I come here.

You still have yet to understand my post. I haven't even entered the debate on the Fournette Chubb issue. Go back and read my posts. They are solely telling you to have some perspective and realize this is such a silly thing to get worked up so much over, especially worked up to the point of hate. Even after me saying the point of my post was lost on you, you still come back trying to debate me on Chubb and Fournette where I've not said one thing about the two in the form of an argument.
Yet you still come back to me trying to advance your argument. You can't see the point I'm getting across because you're too busy getting worked up over this. Again, please read my posts maybe you'll step back and realize how ridiculous you are acting.

Dude? For somebody that started the thread just wanting everyone to just get along and share the wonderful experience of Fournette and Chubb (listed in order of greatness) you sure have gotten bent out of shape.

Anyone that would pick Chubb over Fournette is a certified lunatic.

I'm not reading back 4 pages of posts, but my 'argument' hasn't changed in 2 years, which I was very clear about up above. Which, btw, is pretty straightforward than no LSU fan shoudl even be upset about.

so 2 games counts more than the other 13 they've played. Of course.

I guess I will need to spell it out for you:
The only thing I've ever asserted in this is that you need to step back and have some perspective, NOT about the merits of your Chubb v. Fournette analysis, but how worked up this has made you.
The have some perspective post I made was quoted by you, and you came in firing back as if I was debating you on your analysis. My whole issue with you in this thread is that you have taken all this way too seriously, again, to the point of "hate".
My offering of "perspective" was never about quantitative or qualitative measures of Chubb's success vs. Fournette's (which you seem to have reasoned propositions on), but rather perspective on how little this matters and how it shouldn't make you so upset.
