Nothing wrong with comparing anything keeps the competitive spirit up.

Fournette is great but the fact is he came in and took time to adapt to the speed of college, developing his vision, etc.

Herschel Walker showed up and could name his desired yardage total from day 1.

Indeed!

..Because no one EVER compared Bo and Hershel.

Just remember, the story is still being written. If one of these backs can win the Heisman and the Championship, before declaring for the NFL, then we are talking legendary status shite.

We are witnessing a modern day Bo vs. Herschel and instead of sitting back and enjoying two of the best backs to come through CFB in the past decade, who have the potential to be the considered two of the best to ever do it by the end of their respective careers, we try to compare every little stat to prove that our respective runner is better than the other.

So for the next 1 1/2 years, let's all just sit back and enjoy them because who knows when we'll see 2 more like them playing amongst each other.

No offense but where were these thoughts at during the offseason and preseason this year when UGA fans sneered down their noses anytime we discussed Running Backs and dared mention Buga?

All due respect, but...Enjoy Chubb. We'll enjoy Fournette. But I see what you're doing here. LSU Fans and everyone else saw it too. This diplomacy was nowhere to be found when you were convinced Chubb was demonstrably better.

So did backs like Justin Vincent and Cedric Benson and look how they ended up. There's nothing wrong with taking time to adjust so long as you get there in the end. That's actually much better than starting off hot and tailing off because you have shitty work ethic (Vincent) or you just had the benefit of a really good team (Benson) for that one year.

Once in a generation is kinda strong. How about once in a decade. I mean just last decade we had Adrian Peterson and Reggie Bush. We could probably name 2 backs equally as good as these just about every decade.

But yeah, I agree with you. They are both great, I'm tired of trying to say one is better than the other or not

Good thing Chubb didn't need any time to adapt during his first collegiate game ever.

Cant really say that either because Todd Gurley was 2012-14.

Buga always had more potential, and now he is amassing the stats and highlights to put this argument to rest.

no one has ever said he hasn't had incredible potential

there isn't any career metric which LF is better than NC, aside from KO returns which NC doesn't do. You are using 2 games from LF to "put this to rest", which is about the most unbelievably fricking retarded argument I've ever heard.

I like LSU fans, I really do IRL, but the last 12 months have really made me hate the absolute shite out of all of you. 95% of you suck so, so bad.

Wait, the Chubb vs Fournette argument on the internet made you actually hate LSU fans? And you think 95% of the fan base is on this forum? Come on!!!

based on the last 2 games, sure.

Overall?

what would lead you to believe that? Because he made some highlight runs against a shitty defense? In that case, knowshon moreno is the best RB this decade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
