Watson. Look at what he did vs BAMA compared to what (little) LF did.

I will be rooting for Fournette. I'm a big fan of his but Watson is the better football player imo. I think he has a cakewalk to the trophy if he plays like he did last year.

Fournette flamed out (compared to his early run) late in the season and it hurt him.

Last 4 games

91 yards
108 yards
159 yards
212 yards

Apparently you weren't paying attention. It was a snub to not even get invited. You all know it. Just admit it and move on

Fournette doesn't even get an invite to NYC.

Again.

and he'll be the best RB in the country.. again. although i'm not sure.. if a mid tier RB like Henry can win the heisman there's hope for RBs everywhere.

So he flamed out in the middle then? There was a big drop off for him at some point and that cost him an invite.

The bama game was about his only drop off. His next worst game he went for 91 yards.

With 31 yards. I'll take that rustling all year

Me too. Imagine how rustled you'll be when he drops 200 on your team.

When you compare the first 5 games to the rest of the reg season, you see a big drop off overall and in yards per carry.

I don't know what the confusion is. LSU lost 3 in a row after being #2 in the country. In those 3 losses, Fournette averaged 76 ypg rushing and had some bad fumbles. While that was happening, Henry, McCaffrey, Watson, Mayfield, etc. were tearing it up and carrying their teams towards the playoffs. It's pretty simple.

Unfortunately, I think you're right.

That's fine, but it's not like he fell off and sucked. He just happened to have an insane first 5 games.

He fell off and looked average as evidenced by not getting over 6 ypc in 6 straight games with 4 of them under 5 ypc. That's not how you win a heisman.

I believe he led the nation in ypc and had the 2nd most total yards. It's a season award....not a 3 game award.

And nobody said anything about winning the Heisman. I said not even getting an invite was a travesty and a huge snub

No, he didnt get an invite because of the Bama game. Plain and simple.

IF he would have gotten say, 100 yards, LF is invited.

Its really that simple.

LF7 was LSU's entire fricking offense in the hardest conference in America.

The kid deserved an invite.

Whether or not anyone thinks he is more talented than the rest that got invited, which he is certainty a top 5 talent in CFB, what LF7 did was phenomenal.

The same people that blast LSU fans for pointing out how TERRIBLE the rest of the offense is for LSU LOVE to point out that LF7 apparently only racked up yards on shite teams.

Its been proven, LF7 had close the same numbers as Henry, sometimes better, vs similar competition. The only difference is, yea, Henry didn't play against Bama.

No, it wasn't. The players that were invited ahead of him deserved to be there and any of the three had a legitimate case to win.

By saying it was a travesty and huge snub is a slap to the face of the players who were there and their accomplishments for the season. They had incredible seasons, better than LFs. Only Homer L5u fans will claim otherwise. LF is a great RB, but he's not this once in a generation talent the L5u fans make him out to be, he's over hyped (not overrated).

I dont think LF will win it this year, he might not even get an invite, especially with LSu's 3+losses.

Compare His first 5 and second six and tell me what you see in regards to the flame.

How you finish matters in award season.

And he finished with the most yards per game of any RB that went.

The only reason McCaffrey had more yards was he also-had 2 more games.

LF7 also had 14 more rushing TD's than McCaffrey and a higher ypc than both he and Henry.
