If this is true, LSU might be headed for a rough year. It would mean your passing game has not improved significantly. The best scenario for LSU is more passing, more carries for Guice and a strong, healthy Fournette at the end of the games.

I think you will see all of these happen.

And it will be celebrated by LSU fans, while just a few short months ago they were berating Derrick Henry's accomplishments and berating Nick Saban's perceived "overuse" of him.

Dude. Henry carried the ball on average about 1.5 to 2 carries a game more than Fournette.

We don't need another Marcus Lattimore situation on our hands.

eh, Lattimore's injury was just a freak accident. It wasn't due to overuse.

Miles just runs the ball like all the time. I wouldn't consider that padding stats. Now if he let Harris throw the ball 50 times against a weaker opponent I would say he is trying to pad his stats because he is going out of his norm.

Or if he leaves Fournette in the game and gives Guice only 50 carries in 13 games....4 carries a game? Really? Guice is better than that and should be in the game more with meaningful carries.

LSU only played 12 games and Guice wasn't the number 2 back until probably the South Carolina game. Darrel Williams was getting 2nd team carries early in the season.

Henry got around 40 carries in close games or games that mattered.

Henry went over 40 twice, in very important games with his backup out with an injury. He loved it, too. Fournette had 26 carries against each tomato can LSU played. Henry averaged 13 against Bama's.

Les is likely to get Fournette's ankle reinjured trying to get a Heisman.

225lbs

I doubt Harris was 200lbs last year. He was a rail. No way he put on close to 30lbs unless he was on the Eddie Lacy diet.

I agree with this. Many people don't remember that LF sat out many fourth quarters when the lead was in hand against non-conference opponents.

Not entirely true.

I tend to agree. I saw BH up close a month or so before camp began and he did look a bit thicker; guessing 210-215 range.

A running back is in danger of getting a sprained ankle?

Mostly and almost entirely. But I am sure you can pull out the stats and show me.

I know he also sat our the 4th when we were hammering Auburn.

Look, we can talk and talk. Proof will be at the end of this season. Plain and Simple.

Prepare to be amazed.
