Former Vols Blasting Dooley

2 hour radio show hosted by Terry Fair. Former Vol after former Vol were in line to rip Dooley. Things will be absolutely brutal the next few weeks or so in Knoxville.
Raynoch Thompson-"I understand that firing him means another step back, but this guy is never, ever going to get it done here. This is Tennessee. Tennessee. Unbelievable that this guy is our coach....I played in three BCS bowls and this guy acts like it would have been an accomplishment to make a bowl. Embarrassing beyond belief."
Steve White-"We hold up our coach on our shoulders because we beat Vanderbilt in overtime. Vanderbilt, not Florida or Alabama, Vanderbilt. My senior year we only beat them by ten and I was embarrassed to be a Vol. This guy is, I don't even know what to call him."
Corey Gaines-"The players don't respond to Dooley in the locker room and this needs to be corrected at the top. This guy isn't and will never get it done. This isn't the WAC."
This is just scratching the surface. Former players are absolutely pissed.

Leach, Tuberville, anybody? There are tons of guys better than this who would love to take over an historically top-10 program.

Patterson would be amazing, but like it or not Dooley gets one last year to try and turn it around.

Just be patient VOL Nation. Give him 8-10 years and see if he matures enough to handle the SEC. You stole him from LaTech and two years after he is gone see where the Tech Bulldogs are-----they won the WAC. Thank you very much for taking him.

Add Stoops, London, Sumlin, D'antonio, Strong, Briles.
Plenty of coaches would take this job if we opened the checkbook.
