Kind of reminds me of 2015, we were coming off of a bad season, had fired our coach and were going up against #3 Ole Miss.

Freeze and his ineptitude to adjust during game fkn killed me that game. Had fun at the Swamp though. Wasn’t that Grier’s last game a gator?

Y’all need to get Gertz on a roid cycle this off season and catch that magic again

Little did they know that is wasn't the fans that cause the multiple false start penalties, it was just shitty coaching.

I'll give Freeze some credit in that he can assemble some talent, but he is a very, very shitty in-game coach. That game was infuriating.

Well this is just shockingly poor effort on his part.

His efficiency defense rankings were the worst of the Saban era and Bama fans were right to want him gone.

That's fine.....but it still has nothing to do with what I said.

I've had some toxic as hell and dogshit ex-girlfriends in the past. I don't make it a point to repeatedly tell random people just how terrible they were when literally no one asked nor was the topic relevant.

Well, you shouldn't have to worry now that Pete Golding is your new DC. Finding the area you need to drop in might be the bigger issue going forward.

Pete Golding "Hmm... Will, you are an amazing pass rusher, you are relentless at pursuing running backs, but..you would best be used by dropping back into a hole waiting in coverage "

Will Anderson " ok , you sure?"

Pete " Oh yeah, I drew it in the white board ...works great"

It's hard to believe that Coach Saban doesn't look back in his retirement and wonder why he hung on to Pete Golding like barnacles on a ship. Jalen Hurts, Tua Tagovailoa, Mac Jones, and Bryce Young and one championship. What a freakin' waste.

thought he won one with Tua/hurts in 2017 and one with Mac jones in 2020?

2017, Jeremy Pruitt was the DC.

I thought for a second that hurts transferred out in 2018 but remembered that he was on the team still and played in the SECCG that year. So that threw me off until I realized it.

Oklahoma tends to forget that as well. Jalen Hurts went to 3 straight National Championship games at ALABAMA. Starting 2 of them.

Counterpoint: Mertz's stats last year were near or better than Grier's at WVU with a much worse supporting cast.

LSU throwing shade at someone else's defense is a bold strategy.

Well bama fans just can’t seem to let go of Golding so i guess that makes sense.
