In one MSB thread, I recall he brought a pair of cleats to a Fayetteville memorabilia shop, put them on the counter and said “you know who I am? This is on the house”, and walked out.

RIP. One of my favorite SEC QB’s of all time.

That’s uncalled for….

It wasn’t a knock or troll, it was an acknowledgment that he is free and hopefully can rest in peace.

That's terrible to hear. Rip currents are no joke once you get caught in one. He also played at Michigan if my memory is correct.

A few… Hung out with him once at a party. I was wasted. He was stone sober watching football plays on a laptop on YouTube. Not even joking. Definitely came off as gooberish, but a good dude as far as I ever knew and he was basically profiled as a “w I g g..” by some for how he spoke for no reason other than that. He definitely wasn’t a TPOS, druggie, or anything like that. We were all glad to have him back in state and coaching.

Man, this is so sad.

I just remember how fiery of a competitor he was at Arkansas….and also that little buggy he had for awhile after a foot/leg injury.

One of his Arkansas teams should’ve beat UF (probably his senior year). The refs got some really bad calls against Arky.

Apparently at Destin. Panama City Beach has had seven people killed in a week. LINK Sandbars are right up against the shore, and the rip current will take you straight out!
