I knew another razorback almost died saving family but couldn’t remember who. It is crazy, you just don’t realize what those rip currents can do until you are in them.

Several years ago our starting linebacker from our 1978 Orange Bowl team, Larry Jackson, was struck by lightning and passed away while in the ocean down there. We just never know when our time is up.

We’d hosted many #1’s before that. However, it was a crazy atmosphere.

Terrible news. Condolences to his family and friends.

What beach in Florida was it? Has this been released yet?

I was at the 2010 Alabama vs. Arkansas game in Fayetteville. That place was bonkers. I believe it was the first time ever Fayetteville hosted the #1 ranked team.

Was there, yelled so much I could hardly talk for a few days. The last Bama game I went to- one of the very few Bama games in the last bajillion years we could have actually won.

I remember watching him walk around the entire field at Razorback Stadium pregame Bama 2010. He "dribbled" the football all the way around the field during warmups, dude was a stud

Remember watching him almost beat Highland Park and Stafford in the Tyler Rose back in 06. Almost.
