My brother is Springfield PD, I can confirm this is indeed true.

He was detained and released without charges.

He is too talented to be charged Seriously, he is top 20 pick if he can keep his sh*t together. He put some wood on a AU player in the SECCG when he was blocking...impressive. NFL teams will look at that clip and drool.

The charges should/will be dropped. He got caught in the car with people that had it. He didn't have it on him.

Oh I wouldn't be shocked one bit if he were as guilty as sin and his friends or other powers that be are getting him out of any trouble. Springfield MO doesn't get many 1st round draft picks coming out of it.

You guys don't have the "the hand of one is the hand of all" rule in Missouri?

Ok before you fricks get all crazy.

Look at the booking now, no charge listed now. That court date listed of 12-12 2030 wasnt right either.

Slow your roll rantards.

Gotta love the fact the "kilo" is correcting the board on the drug charges.

Doesn't say what the charges were.
Did you read the OP?

If the charges were dropped, so be it. But that's what he was originally taken into custody for.

In Greene Co. a bag of weed can get you that charge

Well there you go. He shouldn't have been in Greene county with the green. Pretty simple.

FIFY
and he's probably starting to figure that out. Or considering transferring to CO.

Ah. Depends on how they want to play it, I suppose.

And as far as the "charges", I think only the DA can bring formal charges. They arrested him based on their suspicions, but then released him a few hours later with no arraignment and no bond. So, no official charges have been brought against him yet.

Remember, this was a traffic stop, the cops found drugs in the car and arrested everyone there. My guess is DGB kept his mouth shut and got a lawyer. They couldn't prove the drugs were his, and the case started falling apart.

He was arrested and then released. Case still under investigation and you're right only the prosecutor can make the decision whether to file a formal charge and exactly what it will be if one is filed. In these cases where you have a number of people arrested in a vehicle it may take a little time to sort it all out. It may depend to some degree on what any of the potential defendants say (if they're saying anything at all).
