What a stupid statement. We all fall short as Christians to the example and teachings of Christ, but we are not all on a stage that can point out our discretions in such a public manner.

Holy shite. If you think this dude sincerely gave a frick about Christianity in any capacity beyond crafting an imagine to get ahead, I have a bridge to sell you. You're not talking about a single moment of weakness, you're talking about a career built on cash, hookers, and playing holier than though.

Now post the lesson why we shouldn't break one of the 10 Commandments of using the Lord's name in vain.

I love this thread, it has the same theme and ignorance of Hugh Freeze's previous tweets. Circle the wagons and make excuses, sooo classic.

I am not defending his actions...I am just stating that I don't have the moral high ground to stand on with respect to his beliefs or his relationship with God. And not to burst your bubble, but you don't either.

What's with all these cringey bible thumpers coming out of the woodshed? The guy is a millionaire who is a slimy liar who got caught. He also lied to all you holier than thou bible people with his fake persona so he could make himself look better. He deserves everything he is getting. The only people I feel sorry for are his daughters who had their world turned upside down.

x1000.

Beyond that there's a lot of verses about hypocrites, liars, and those who set themselves up as false teachers. Freeze should enrage the faithful most of all.

Definitely praying for his family and that he understands the grace and forgiveness of the Lord, and that he learns from his sins.

Also laughing at what's about to happen to Ole Miss.

This dude CHOSE to enter a career field that brings the public adulation and praise. He enjoyed THAT to its fullest. He got PAID for the fame and rigors that come with it.

but it is not far any of us to point a finger at it.

Tha frick? So, for you Christians....you cannot point out when people do something stupid, wrong, illegal, or "sinful"?

That seems ridiculous.

Dude, I most certainly have the moral highground over a millionaire who bought hookers for 16 and 17 year old kids in order to advance his career. GTFO with that who are we to judge bullshite.

I only wish you could come to know the love and compassion of our shortcomings that only Christ can provide. We all know that we don't get it from our fellow man and I am the first to fall short in that regard.

And I appreciate the sentiment. Been there, done that. Drank the kool-aid and found that it just wasn't for me. If drinking the kool-aid helps you deal with life then I'm happy for you and encourage you to continue.

HF is a horrible human being... using religion to manipulate people for his own personal gain is the worst kind of human there is.

Judge and ridicule, no. But we are called to hold each other accountable for our sins. Our mission is to preach, make disciples and baptize.
