I urge you Christians out there to pray for HF and his family as they rebuild from this devastation.

You mean the devastation he ritualistically and systematically hid from his wife and kids?

The kind he deliberately conducted at the same time he'd piously publish prayers on Twitter?

Devastation that is the invariable fallout from the public challenge he defiantly issued to the world, saying that if we thought OM was cheating, then bring it?

Just checking. You might want to go back and examine that article I posted from USA Today.

Dude had this coming in spades. I'll feel bad for his wife and his daughters, but that's the extent of it From the AD to the support staff, allllll the way down to the blind-arse OM fans who swore up and down that Freezus and Mark Richt were cut from the same cloth. frick em.

He made a career out of being a fake Christian because recruits moms liked it, and he threw bible verses at anyone who dared question him.

frick Hugh Freeze, he deserves all that's coming.

Us laughing could just be part of God's plan/punishment.

I am far from perfect. However, I don't spend half the day tweeting Bible verses. Maybe I should, but no one would read them. He had a large audience of followers. I feel more for them being duped. I actually saw a video an Ole Miss fan brought to our Bible study group (Might have been his sermon at Timberlake). He was quite good, actually. But, I also remember Jimmy Swaggert and his snake oil.

I won't be around later to respond to the comments made in response to my post but I noted that non Christians would not understand.I expected venomous responses from that group and they have started. I posted to remind Christians that we are called to forgive others in the Lord's prayer, that God may forgive us.It is an act of love satisfying the great commandment of the New Testament To love God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself. To the people angered by my post I still love you and pray you would find truth about God.Peace

What's with all these cringey bible thumpers coming out of the woodshed? The guy is a millionaire who is a slimy liar who got caught. He also lied to all you holier than thou bible people with his fake persona so he could make himself look better. He deserves everything he is getting. The only people I feel sorry for are his daughters who had their world turned upside down.

I don't believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior. I also don't go around preaching shite I don't hold myself true to. I don't put on a facade.

People like him give good Christians a bad name.

frick that dude.

What a stupid statement. We all fall short as Christians to the example and teachings of Christ, but we are not all on a stage that can point out our discretions in such a public manner.

No doubt, Freeze is reaping his sown seeds, but it is not far any of us to point a finger at it. If you are a Christian, go look in the mirror to see a sinner.

There's going to be plenty of people in this thread that wouldn't stop to buy a homeless person a sandwich fretting about poor millionaire Hugh who has apparently been unfaithful to his wife and a lying POS using Christianity as a guise for years. I'll give my empathy where I see fit. I don't need an invisible sky wizard for that. I feel for the kids and wife (assuming she didn't already know about this stuff going on) due to the public nature of it. That's it.

At some point on some level yes I feel for the Freeze family and even Hugh.

But I gotta tell you, when someone preaches a holier than thou lifestyle and accuses anyone who criticizes him of doing so because of his faith and then wraps themselves up as a persecuted martyr and blames everyone and takes no responsibility for his actions until being caught red handed?

No. I am gonna enjoy this for a few days.

I only wish you could come to know the love and compassion of our shortcomings that only Christ can provide. We all know that we don't get it from our fellow man and I am the first to fall short in that regard.
