Scott Roussel of Footballscoop.com - "I think 100 percent, " said Roussel. "There's no way that LSU would be moving forward with this discussion unless they were exceptionally confident that they had their next guy. There's been no discussion of anybody other than Jimbo Fisher as I understand it. It's my full belief, if they pull the trigger and move Les out, that Jimbo will be the next coach at LSU.

Why question anything someone writes on the Internet?

Sexton is just getting Jimbo more money from FSU, L5U fans are starting to sound like Tenn. fans before Jones.

Maybe y'all can get Dooley he does have L5U ties.

quote:

Derek Dooley enters his fifth season with the Tigers in 2004, and during his time in Baton Rouge has proven his versatility on the staff. In four seasons at LSU, Dooley has coached two positions, coordinated LSU's recruiting efforts, and has served as the special teams coordinator. In his first year as LSU's running backs coach and special teams coordinator in 2003, Dooley made his impact felt right away.

This is almost as good as the Saban to Texas fiasco from a couple of years ago.

I remember this guys name from when we were looking for a coach, I'm pretty sure he was wrong on who he predicted for us but honestly I wouldn't swear to it.

If this doesn't happen, SEC fans will enjoy the melt. If this does happen, SEC teams won't enjoy LSU going in dry.

I loved when you guys "went in dry" this year. It was a wonderful feeling.

Jimbo's a high character, highly qualified coach. You listen to too much Finebaum. IMHO.

Ark hire a great OC, it had too, SEC west is just too tough to compete in. LSU's hiring one of the best OC's as their head coach, like ARK they needed more diversity in their offense. Nothing delusional about that.
