Jumbo would be a solid hire, make no mistake. But he's not Saban or Meyer and he's not going to splash like Harbaugh. My only problem here is determining why LSU is a better job than FSU. He's got a great brand within one of the greatest states for recruiting there is, and he doesn't have to go through the toughest division in CFB to get to the playoffs. A move seems to make things tougher on himself.

Go watch his impassioned defense of Winston after the rape allegations.

2% chance Jimbo is at LSU next year. Just some little dick yahoo writer trying to make a name for himself that said 100%.

Jimbo claims his love for FLa St yet isn't denying any of the LSU rumors. We'll certainly know soon, likely Sunday or Monday who has been d#cking around with fans.

Look at it this way. Teams in ACC can't afford to lose one game, they have to go undefeated every year. Teams in the SEC get a mulligan every year.

You act like Saban, Miles, and Chizik weren't willing to recruit Winston.

So apparently someone has missed the whole hide the 20+ rape thing at FSU.

There's no way that LSU would be moving forward with this discussion unless they were exceptionally confident that they had their next guy.

I don't believe this. I think LSU is just flailing around because of 5-in-a-row.

I definitely agree that, logically speaking, they shouldn't be doing any of this unless they have Jimbo (or some other elite coach) waiting to take over. But I don't think LSU is thinking logically right now.

This isn't about who was willing to recruit him, but what they would have done in the face of rape allegations.

For one, Saban's taken players in from other teams facing serious allegations. LSU fans know Jimbo well, all the time Jimbo spent at LSU he was a great character guy and a great coach.

Jimbo is a snake. I know that. You know that. The only difference between us is that you won't admit it anymore because Jimbo might win some football games at LSU.

No allegations, Saban has clearly been raping LSU, what LSU boosters have done is brought in Jimbo to put a stop to it.

He was supposed to leave 5 years ago according to you retards.

Soon could be in a year or in 10 years. He's already said, this year, he isn't ready to retire.

I'd rather Saban remain a few more years, wouldn't want to miss out on spanking that azz a few times before he retires. LSU beat the Bear, a year later he retired and died.

Saban is a great judge of character, I have no reason to doubt him or Jimbo.
