I remember when that gun toting thug at UGA (Crowell) almost got Aaron Murray killed in opener against Boise State when he missed blocking assignments on blitzs. One time a DL of Boise State tossed him around like a rag doll and cause a fumble and TD for the smurfs. They took Crowell out and the only way he got back in was when a run play was called for him. He had talent...shame. I hated to see Murray hit like that...he is from my hometown Tampa...but went to rival hs.

Of course...because we were feeling okay about the Oline for almost a second there.

Almost a second...has any team over the last four years had worse luck with preexisting injuries to offensive lineman...this is like the tenth freaking guy

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rooting for this kid...beast and a good guy. Helll NO

Don't want to see him injured, but after his comments on the state of Alabama when he chose Florida over Auburn, the only rooting I'll be doing for Ivey will be for him to be mediocre.

He was in a battle with mason halter for the job. The rumor out of camp was that they were considering starting halter at guard and putting ivey at tackle to get them both on the field. Guess Halter will play tackle now until ivey returns. That being said Fred Johnson has been very impressive in camp so they might give him reps at tackle the first couple games to see how he holds up.

He'll be back for Kentucky. Its a blessing that it is just cleaning out a previous injury and not something that just happened, otherwise he'd be looking at a redshirt year.
