The 6-foot-5, 302-pound tackle came in Thursday with a sore leg. It was looked at by the team's medical staff, which found a pre-existing injury that will need to scoped. Ivey is slated to have the procedure done on Friday. McElwain did not provide details on a return timeline.

"He'll be back," McElwain stated. "It doesn't appear to be a season-ending deal."

ETA: Source FLorida 247..

Wow, tough for the kid if true.

UF will really be hurting on the OL as it is.

EDIT: Since it's a scope, he will be fine. Might miss a few games...

Even though I hate UF, this sucks. Hope the kid's leg heals quickly.

Not trolling but I'm really anxious to see how Florida's offensive line will handle Tennessee's pass rushers.

How has Florida's OL looked in camp and what is the projected starting 5?

This is a learning year for Ivey so it's NBD. Glad he's okay. This will certainly reduce some of the pressure he may have been feeling.

Reports on the ol have been limited. That being said coaches have indicated that they feel comfortable with 8 or 9 that can play.

I'm not albino. Your point is mute. At least I wish it was mute.
