UGA fans are a case study in insecurity. Two in a row and still looking over their shoulder at two programs they supposedly consider to be also rans.

As I asked the UF fan, what does your comment have to do with the subject of this thread? And I hope you don't think that I, as a UGA fan, started this because of some sort of "insecurity" about Auburn or Florida? No offense, but uh, there are some teams I'm...concerned about. UF and Auburn aren't exactly on that list at the moment.
But that's not the point. Tell me why you think Auburn will resurge before UF, if indeed you think they will?

I keep seeing this. Let me help. We are basking in the glow of back-to-back nattys. Part of the fun is looking at the struggles and fretting of our rivals. So every time someone post “insecure” or “ rent-free” we just laugh. We know the reality is UGA is dominating you on the field and in your head. And you don’t have any ammunition and can no longer throw out “1980”. So you resort to insecurity or rent-free. It’s your version of “ I know you are but what am I” when you have no argument. So keep it up! It adds to our joy!

The teams that will “get back first” all need to be further removed from UGA. Ole Miss, perhaps ATM. Kirby dominating that geography and the East for decades to come.

Auburn will benefit from the new scheduling format more than any other program in the SEC.

The spectrum of SOS difficulty ranging from Auburn (hardest) to Kentucky (easiest) is incredibly lopsided. The new scheduling format will even things out, and therefor AU will see the most relative benefit while UK, Vandy, Georgia, Mizzou are going to see sharp increases in difficulty.

The Alabama/Georgia factor won’t have the same impact at that point. Auburn might still have to play both every season, but everyone else will play them more often

We get three perma opponents:

Bama, Georgia and probably Florida if I'm being honest

Nah. Rumor is it’s likely to be Vandy to offset having both Bama and Georgia permanently.

Auburn the program is less of a dumpster fire at the moment. UF can’t even organize its collectives, HC and recruiting to all pull in the same direction.

Florida has only seen major success with two head coaches.
.

This^^

People don't seem to understand that Florida is one of the more difficult big jobs in the SEC b/c of all the in state competition and the history (or really lack thereof) of the program.

Outside of 2 of the 10-15 best coaches in modern CFB history, Florida has done nothing as a program.

If Auburn werenr directly compared to Alabama all the time, people would also see their program is pretty good over the last 40 yrs.

You should throw Alabama in the mix with this question.

That offer reeks of desperation. Should answer OP question by itself.

This is so stupid

Since 1948 UF only has a losing record to 1 SEC program

Florida vs the other 5 “Big 6” opponents since 1948:

Spurrier: 46-12 (79.3%)
Meyer: 14-7 (66.7%)
All other head coaches: 86-108-1. (44.1%)

As I was saying…

Pretty sad for Auburn that we still have over twice as many major bowl wins as they do.

1948 seems ... not very useful in any semi modern context.
